Updated Information on Glade Spring
Mayor Lee Coburn called to let everyone know how we can continue to help Glade Spring
• The businesses within the Town of Glade Spring are open and needs you to come and spend money to eat and buy merchandise! You probably will see a need that YOU can help.
• Most of the town is open for business with the exception of businesses that were badly hit by the storm. Petro should be open by this weekend.
• The Farmers Market will be open this weekend
What is needed at this time:
All household items:
• All small kitchen appliances (new or gently used)
• Microwaves, refrigerators, washers dryers,
• Towels – (bath, hand, washcloths for bath) and kitchen
• Dishes
• Silverware
• Cups and glasses
• Toiletries – Shampoos, Conditioners, Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste
• Hairdryers, curling irons, brushes, combs, styling products, etc.
• Paper items – toilet paper, paper towels, disposable wipes
• Bed sheets, bedspreads,
• Cleaning supplies
• Pet items
Still needed:
• Clothing, shoes and socks for men, women, children and babies
• Items for babies
• Toys
You can take the items to the main lobby of The Falls Plaza which is located on Russell Road. If the doors are locked please leave items to the side of the doors.
