FloydFest takes place on an 80 acre venue off the beautiful, historic, and refreshingly non-commercial Blue Ridge Parkway. Since it’s inception in 2001, FloydFest has grown, exponentially yet sustainably, and in the words of a 2009 Jambase reviewer “manages to pull off a large-tier festival while maintaining a small-fest vibe.” Performers include: The Levon Helm Band, Blue King Brown, Bearfoot, Cornmeal, The Low Anthem, Mountain Heart, Wiyos, Adrienne Young, William Walter & Co., Miss Tess, Christabel & The Jons, Boulder Acoustic Society, Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Packway Handle Band, Two Man Gentlemen Band, and many, many more.
